We passed into double digits in January today... almost done, almost done.

Today we looked at two different types of poetry: A limerick and a sonnet.

We did Edward Lear's limerick first:

Then we did Shakespeare's "Sonnet 130".

tomorrow we will talk about a Blazon, a type of poem that Shakespeare, among other writers, used a lot.
