I'm currently sitting in the library at BR, I'll be leaving at about 11:30am

Thursday and Friday Jan 19

Thursday and Friday we did the Task 2 and Task 3 presentations for the class.

We had a bit of time left over on each day, so I shared the exam review one day and offered some help for option sheets on the other. Friday I also spoke to every student about what they owed, if anything

Tuesday and Wednesday Jan 17

So these days we've been getting through a bunch of Task 3 Canadian Poet presentations.

I have to say "thank you" to my students for doing such a great job on educating their classmates on the lives of Canadian poets.

In any case, Wednesday we got this poem for homework:

and we listened to Patrick Stewart read this poem, too

Monday Jan 15

So ... we did some Task 2 poems, followed by some readings by the teacher.

We did read Fern Hill by Dylan Thomas. What. A Poem.

After that, we got this poem assigned to us for homework:

So today ... we did a bit of Christian Bok. And we did read this chapter from Eunoia, his poetry book that was on the best seller list:

Today we heard a number of presentations of poetry for Task 2 in the class. We also hear this version of the sonnet that starts Romeo and Juliet:

Then we got this part of the Bible to study as a poem for homework:

I really am not an artist, but that was my attempt at drawing the images of the poet.
